The Little Museum of Dublin

A little website for a little museum all about Dublin.

Luckily, the Little Museum of Dublin had a beautiful and established brand that took full advantage of the wonderful and classic font Caslon and made great use of its many ligatures and flourishes. This was carried across to the digital experience in fun and engaging ways; for example, italics were used for rollover effects and variants on the standard capitals greeted the user on each new page.

The layout captures some of the character of the exhibitions themselves; a controlled chaos with artifacts set close together and clear spaces in between that allow the viewer to gather their thoughts and understand the context of the various spaces within the collection.
